The invention relates to an energy-saving decorative plate for an environment-friendly building. The energy-saving decorative plate comprises a decorative plate body, wherein a decorative groove is formed in the decorative plate body; a partition plate for dividing the decorative groove into a water collecting groove and a planting groove is arranged in the decorative groove; a baffle for shielding the opening of the water collecting groove is connected to the decorative plate body; a water inlet and a water outlet are formed in the decorative plate body; the water inlet and the water outlet communicate with the water collecting groove; the center line of the water inlet coincides with the center line of the water outlet; the water inlet is located above the water outlet; a plugging bolt for plugging the water outlet is detachably connected to the decorative plate body; a green plant unit is arranged in the planting groove; a water absorbing cotton strip is connected to the green plant unit; and one end, away from the green plant unit, of the water absorbing cotton strip penetrates through the partition plate and extends into the water collecting groove. The energy-saving decorative plate improves the problem of waste of rainwater resources and saves water resources.
