The invention provides road height limiting equipment for traffic transportation. The equipment structurally comprises a transmission box, a top column, a top frame, a height limiting rod and a base, the lower end of the transmission box is welded to the upper end of the base, the upper end of the transmission box is fixedly connected with the lower end of the top column in an embedded mode, the lower end of the top frame is connected with the upper end of the top column through a stud, and the height limiting rod is arranged on the inner side of the transmission box for supporting fit. When a carriage is clamped into the lower end of the height limiting rod, the equipment is powered on, a device in the transmission box is controlled, a brake box pushes a supporting plate in a lifting device, a fixing column pushes a clamping ring, the clamping ring pushes a connecting rod and a connecting plate in a lifting frame, a sliding frame is pushed up, after an elastic block is extruded by the supporting frame, the supporting frame pushes up a rotating column, and the rotating column drives a supporting rod to rise; and a vehicle is removed from the lower end of the height limiting rod, so that the situations that the vehicle is clamped into the height limiting rod, height limiting equipment needs to be disassembled, and the vehicle is clamped at the lower end of the height limiting rod and cannot move are avoided.
