The invention discloses a transverse plate longitudinal splicing decoration structure which is applied to a roof or a wall. The transverse plate longitudinal splicing decoration structure comprises one or more transverse plate units which are spliced with one another, wherein the transverse plate units are of wedge table structures as a whole; upper turned edges are arranged on relatively thin sides of the wedge table structures; lower turned edges are arranged on relatively thick sides of the wedge table structures; in the inclined top extension direction, the relatively thin sides of the wedge table structures are positioned at high positions, and the relatively thick sides of the wedge table structures are positioned at low positions; when the transverse plate units are spliced, the transverse plate units transversely extend along the roof or the wall, and every two adjacent transverse plate units are longitudinally spliced along the roof or the wall to form a step structure; and the upper turned edge of one of every two adjacent transverse plate units is matched and fixed with the lower turned edge of the other transverse plate unit. According to the transverse plate longitudinal splicing decoration structure, a cavity between a roof layer and a building can be formed through a bottom plate layer of a waveform structure, so that noise reduction and heat preservation are facilitated; and meanwhile, the upper turned edges and the lower turned edges of every two adjacent transverse plate units are matched with one another, so that the working efficiency can be effectively improved in a laying process, and the construction effect and the long-term stability can be guaranteed.
