The invention discloses a correcting device for a prefabricated bay window and a correcting method adopting the correcting device. The correcting device comprises a first plate and a second plate; the first plate comprises a first plate body and a second plate body, and the first plate body and the second plate body are vertically arranged and vertically connected; the second plate comprises a third plate body and a fourth plate body, and the third plate body and the fourth plate body are vertically arranged and vertically connected, so that the first plate and the second plate jointly define a cavity; the correcting device is mounted to the upper part of a first prefabricated bay window; and a second prefabricated bay window is lowered into the cavity and is tidily spliced with the first prefabricated bay window under the limiting action of the cavity. According to the correcting device, the problems of difficult positioning and slow mounting in the mounting process of the prefabricated bay window are solved, the investment of mounting personnel is reduced, the mounting efficiency is improved, and the cost investment can be reduced from the long term.
