According to the method and system for rapid ecological restoration of the stone slope, the ecological environment of the slope is restored through a green plant planting method, rainwater can be collected, water resources can be saved, irrigation is automatically controlled through the control cabinet, a plant area is kept wet all the time, and therefore, the plants can effectively grow. Meanwhile, due to the arrangement of stepped planting areas, the plants are planted more orderly, so that the stone slope can be effectively repaired by means of the method, and the water and soil loss and delayed weathering degree are reduced.
