The invention discloses a spiral steel pipe-type steel bar connecting sleeve and a use method thereof. A sleeve body of the spiral steel pipe-type steel bar connecting sleeve is formed by spirally coiling steel pipes and outer walls of the adjacent steel pipes on a side wall of the sleeve body are in contact to form a closed structure; an upper end and a lower end of the sleeve body are opened; and the connecting sleeve body formed by the steel pipes in a spiral manner has a good connecting effect, the steel pipes and an inner cavity of the sleeve are filled with grouting materials, such that cohesiveness of steel bar connection is greatly improved. Workers do not need to watch on site, the labor consumption is greatly reduced, the labor cost is reduced, compared with pressure-type grouting, the method does not cause waste of grouting materials, certain material cost is saved, construction is convenient, and construction efficiency is improved.
