The invention discloses a round tower type three-dimensional parking garage and a lifting mechanism thereof. The lifting mechanism comprises a lifting and lowering platform, a power device, a center guiding piece and a plurality of steel cables, wherein the power device and the center guiding piece are fixed to preset positions, and the center guiding piece is arranged by corresponding to the center area of the lifting and lowering platform; the first ends of the plurality of steel cables are connected with the power output end of the power device; and the second ends of the plurality of steel cables are connected with different areas of the lifting and lowering platform after winding around the center guiding piece. According to the above scheme, the stability of the lifting and lowering platform during lifting and lowering movement of the lifting and lowering platform can be improved.
