The left-right universal hydraulic buffer hinge comprises a first hinge body, a second hinge body and a mandrel, wherein the first hinge body is hinged to the second hinge body through the mandrel; the mandrel comprises a connecting sleeve, a first sealing connecting piece, a second sealing connecting piece, a limiting sleeve, a spiral sleeve, a spiral shaft and a pressure spring; L-shaped limiting grooves are symmetrically formed in the wall surface of the limiting sleeve; when outer spiral teeth of the spiral shaft are matched with inner spiral teeth on the inner hole wall of the spiral sleeve for rotation, the spiral sleeve slides and lifts in the limiting sleeve through a limiting shaft; the pressure spring is used for pressure energy storage; one end of the pressure spring is contacted with the spiral shaft, and the other end is contacted with the limiting sleeve; and when the hinge is opened and closed, the spiral shaft can be pushed to shrink. The hinge is smaller in size and simple in structure, reduces the production and machining difficulty, and reduces the production and machining cost.
