The padlock comprises a padlock body which comprises the lock body, a lock beam and a lock hole, and the protection device for the padlock for the chemical enterprises in any one of the technical schemes. The shell of the protection device forms sealing protection on the padlock body, and the shell is filled with protective gas by the protective gas storage tank, so that the situation that an external corrosive medium enters the shell to corrode the padlock body is reduced, and the service life of the padlock is prolonged.
