The invention discloses an atomizing core, porous ceramic and a preparation method of the porous ceramic. The preparation method of the porous ceramic comprises the steps of mixing at least two types of diatomaceous earth with different particle sizes to form a raw material; mixing the raw material, a sintering aid, a reinforcing agent and a pore forming agent to form a mixture; mixing at least two binders to form a wax block; mixing the mixture with the wax block to form a ceramic material; preparing a green body from the ceramic material through an injection molding process; and degreasing and sintering the green body to form the porous ceramic. The wax block and the mixture are prepared in advance, so that the powder can be mixed more uniformly, and the pore diameter of the prepared porous ceramic is uniform; the diatomite is subjected to particle size matching, and gaps can be filled with diatomite particles with a smaller particle size, so that the porous ceramic has higher porosity, and a better pore diameter ratio is obtained; and the green body is prepared in an injection molding manner, so that the preparation process is simple and convenient, the technological process is simple, and mass production is easy.
