The invention discloses a hinge type fish screen. The hinge type fish screen comprises a first grating, a second grating and a connecting rod which are located in a reservoir spillway, and supports, a first lifting rope and a second lifting rope which are located on the two sides of the spillway. The first grating and the second grating are hinged in a hinge mode, the change range of the included angle is 120-300 degrees, and the top of the first grating and the top of the second grating are higher than a flood level when the first grating and the second grating are folded into an inverted-V shape and placed at the bottom of the spillway. According to the hinge type fish screen, when the spillway discharges flood, the height angle of the first grating and the height angle of the second grating are adjusted by operating the first lifting rope and the second lifting rope to ascend and descend, so that the device can discharge garbage while blocking fishes.
