The invention provides a hanging basket for construction engineering, and belongs to the technical field of building construction instruments. The hanging basket comprises a hanging basket body, rope body unwinding parts, limiting parts, an adjusting part and a damping part, wherein the two groups of rope body unwinding parts are arranged; the two groups of rope body unwinding parts are rotationally installed inside the hanging basket body and are oppositely distributed; mooring ropes are wound on the two groups of rope body unwinding parts; one end, far away from the corresponding rope body unwinding part, of each mooring rope is fixedly connected with the top of a building body; the two groups of limiting parts are arranged; the two groups of limiting parts are correspondingly arranged on the opposite sides of the two groups of rope body unwinding parts respectively; and the two groups of limiting parts are used for limiting the rotation of the corresponding rope body winding parts. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the invention has the advantages that the descending of the hanging basket can be manually controlled, complex power mechanism control is not needed, the structure is simple, and the movement of the hanging basket is flexible and controllable.
