The invention relates to an intersection traffic control method based on novel traffic signs and marked lines, which comprises the following steps that a newly marked traffic stop line is arranged by retreating a vehicle stop line which is originally adjacent to a zebra crossing or a motor vehicle lane in a vertical passage direction of an intersection by a preset distance, a waiting area is arranged between the original vehicle stop line and the newly marked traffic stop line; traffic signal signs are improved, and a waiting lamp is added or a traffic notice board is arranged; when the traffic light is red, the vehicle stops in front of the newly marked traffic stop line; in the last preset time of the red light, namely the preset time before the green light is turned on, the waiting lights are turned on, or the existing red light end countdown device is utilized, and the traffic notice board is used for reminding the waiting vehicles in the lane to run to the waiting area to wait for passing, and the forward movement of the front vehicles plays a strong role in reminding the vehicles in the back row. The traffic efficiency of vehicles in the green light period of the intersection is effectively improved, traffic jam is reduced, and energy consumption is reduced.
本发明涉及一种基于新型交通标示标线的交叉路口通行控制方法，包括以下步骤：将交叉路口原有紧临与其垂直通行方向斑马线或机动车道的车辆停止线后撤预设距离设置一个新划设交通停止线，并在原有车辆停止线与新划设交通停止线间设置待行区；并对交通信号标识进行改进，增加一个待行灯或设置交通提示牌；当红灯时，车辆停止于新划设交通停止线前；红灯最后预设时间，也即绿灯亮起前预设时间，通过点亮待行灯，或利用已有的红灯结束倒计时装置，通过交通提示牌，提示车道内等候的车辆运行至待行区等待通行，前方车辆的前进将对后排车辆起到强烈的提示作用。本发明有效提高车辆在交叉路口绿灯时段的通行效率，减少交通拥堵，减少能源消耗。
