The invention discloses a 4-tert-butyl calix [4] arene modified polycarboxylate superplasticizer, which is prepared by copolymerizing unsaturated carboxylic acid monomers, polyether macromonomers and 4-tert-butyl calix [4] arene modified polyether macromonomers as main raw materials. By grafting the 4-tert-butylcalix [4] arene on the side chain of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer, intercalation adsorption of montmorillonite and the like on a long-chain branch chain can be effectively prevented, so that the polycarboxylate superplasticizer shows excellent mud resistance and neat paste flow retention characteristic; and the related preparation method is relatively simple and is suitable for popularization and application.
