The intelligent width adjusting mechanism comprises a frame body, wherein two groups of width adjusting assemblies are arranged on the frame body at an interval, the width adjusting assemblies are used for installing a spreading machine main body and enabling the spreading machine main body to reciprocate on the frame body, and the lower part of the frame body is clamped on a mold through a limiting assembly. According to the intelligent width adjusting mechanism, in the working process of the spreading machine, a chassis of the spreading machine can be adaptively adjusted according to the construction distance of a construction section, so that the walking distance of different construction sections can be met by the spreading machine, i.e. the purpose of concrete spreading on a conventional or widened construction section can be achieved, and the purposes that the spreading machine can be adaptively adjusted according to construction requirements, and diversified construction is met are achieved.
