The invention discloses a steel structure truss for road bridge engineering and building construction and a construction process. The steel structure truss comprises a first support and a second support; a mounting groove is formed in the side wall of the first support; a screw hole is formed in the side wall of the mounting groove and the side wall of the second support; and a bolt is in threaded connection with the interior of the screw hole. The construction process comprises the following steps that anti-rust oil is added into a containing cavity; in normal weather, a water baffle is in an open state; and in a rainy day, rainwater drops into a water receiving groove and flows to a water swelling block along an inclined plane, the water swelling block absorbs water to swell towards the right side due to the fact that the lower wall of the left end is fixed, a connecting rod is pushed to move, then a mounting plate is driven to move rightwards, the mounting plate drives the water baffle to move rightwards, the right end of the water baffle moves into an inserting groove, and the mounting groove is blocked, so a large amount of rainwater is prevented from falling into the mounting groove. The truss and the construction process can prevent the rainwater from corroding the bolt, the mounting stability of the truss can be guaranteed, the bolt can also be prevented from rusting, and workers can conveniently maintain and disassemble a device in the later period.
