The smart zebra crossing control method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-controlled target road area and a road traffic rule corresponding to the target road area; obtaining a target zebra crossing contained in the target road area and installation position information of an indicator light corresponding to the target zebra crossing; according to the road traffic rule and the installation position information of the indicator lamp, generating an indication control instruction of the indicator lamp; and sending the indication control instruction to an indication lamp corresponding to the target zebra crossing. According to the embodiment of the invention, the indicator lights are installed around the target zebra crossing, and the indicator lights corresponding to the target zebra crossing are controlled according to the road traffic rules and the installation position information of the indicator lights, so that the adjustment mode is more flexible, the indicator light mode is convenient for users to check, the requirements of pedestrians and vehicles for smooth passage can be met and potential safety hazards are reduced.
