The invention relates to the technical field of environmental protection equipment, and discloses a water surface garbage collection device capable of improving garbage collection efficiency. The water surface garbage collection device comprises a synchronous swing mechanism; the synchronous swing mechanism comprises a water pump; the top of the water pump is fixedly connected to a driving shaft; the periphery of the bottom of the driving shaft is in transmission connection with a driven shaft through a transmission belt; and the top of the driven shaft is fixedly connected to a grooved roller. According to the water surface garbage collecting device, as the water pump is wound into lake water, the driving shaft rotates to be mated with transmission of the transmission belt, so that the grooved roller rotates. An ejector rod ascends and descends vertically, to cause a groove rod to drive an annular frame and an inner barrel to swing left and right; meanwhile, under the transmission of a steering knuckle I and a steering knuckle II, a movable shaft drives the inner barrel to rotate to collect water surface garbage; and the sliding block is pressed down through rotation of a cam, the sliding block moves up and down in cooperation with the elastic force of a reset spring, a pressing rod set circularly stretches and contracts accordingly, so that sucked garbage is compressed to the bottom of the inner barrel, thereby increasing the capacity of the equipment.
