The invention discloses an automatic rain and sewage diversion well for municipal pipelines. A confluence inlet, a rainwater outlet and a sewage outlet are formed in the side wall of a well body; the rainwater outlet is located above the sewage outlet; and a plugging mechanism and a buoy mechanism are arranged in the well body. The plugging mechanism comprises a sleeve in butt joint with the sewage outlet, an annular cone base and a guide support frame that are arranged on the inner wall of the sleeve, a plug which is arranged in the sleeve and is provided with drainage holes, and a guide support rod which is arranged on the plug; and the guide support rod is transversely mated with and supported on the guide support frame. The buoy mechanism comprises a buoy hung in front of the sleeve through a lifting rope, a fixed pulley arranged on the side wall of the well body and a pull rope; the upper end of the pull rope is connected to the bottom of the buoy; and the lower end of the pull rope bypasses the fixed pulley and then is connected to the guide supporting rod. The buoy is located below the rainwater outlet when not floating upwards; and when floating upwards, the guide supporting rod can be transversely pulled through the pull rope, so that the plug can be attached to the annular cone base, and only the drainage holes are reserved for drainage. Therefore, rain and sewage can be automatically diverged without external driving force.
