The invention provides a supporting system for mounting a fabricated building and a construction method of the supporting system. The supporting system comprises self-adaptive leveling assemblies, a telescopic supporting assembly and a hydraulic cylinder; the telescopic supporting assembly is formed by mutually butting shear type telescopic assemblies, and the two self-adaptive leveling assemblies are oppositely arranged; the two ends of each telescopic supporting assembly are each connected to the self-adaptive leveling assemblies through one hydraulic cylinder; and each self-adaptive leveling assembly comprises a top plate, a bottom plate, a ball head base, a ball head supporting rod, a conical lead block, a steel cable and a steel cable clamping mechanism. When each self-adaptive leveling assembly is placed on the ground, the ground is uneven, at the moment, the bottom plate inclines, the conical lead block hung below the top plate enables the top plate to be kept in a horizontal state, the ball head supporting rod deflects relative to the ball head base, the steel cable clamping mechanism clamps the steel cable, and when the top plate has the movement tendency of deflecting relative to the bottom plate, the position of the steel cable is fixed so that the top plate cannot deflect, and the effects of automatically leveling and locking the top plate are achieved.
