The invention provides an underwater environment surveying device for a water conservancy project, and relates to the technical field of water conservancy surveying. The underwater environment surveying device comprises a device body, a guide mechanism penetrates through and is arranged at the position, close to the right side, of the middle of the bottom of the device body, a sampling barrel is fixedly connected between the bottom ends of first hydraulic rods, a sampling box is slidably connected into a sliding frame, and a sliding plate is slidably connected into the front end of a fixing frame; a negative pressure suction cup is arranged at the bottom of the front end of the sliding block. A mud layer is sampled through a sampling barrel, then a sludge pump works to pump air in a fixed barrel, a mud sample in the sampling barrel is pumped into a cavity in a sampling box, a hydraulic cylinder works to enable a second hydraulic rod to extend after single-point sampling is finished, and the sampling box is driven by the sliding frame to slide to replace the cavity; multi-point sampling can be carried out at four different positions in sequence through the four cavities, so that the underwater environment surveying device is more convenient to use and worthy of vigorous popularization.
