The invention discloses a method for preparing an environment-friendly brick from nickel wet smelting slag and water quenching slag. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing nickel slag, water-quenched slag and shale according to the mass ratio of (10-20): (5-20): (60-80) to obtain a raw material; uniformly mixing the raw material with water according to a mass ratio of 1: (0.001-0.05), aging, performing compression molding, drying, and controlling the water content to be less than 5% to obtain a dried green brick; and carrying out high-temperature roasting on the dried green brick to obtain the environment-friendly brick. According to the method, the characteristics of the shale are utilized, the shale, the nickel wet-process smelting slag and the water-quenched slag are mixed and roasted, the nickel wet-process smelting slag and the water-quenched slag are treated at the same time, the problem that the nickel wet-process smelting slag is difficult to treat is effectively solved, the heavy metal leaching risk of the nickel wet-process smelting slag is remarkably reduced, the effects of simultaneous treatment and utilization of two kinds of solid waste and hazardous waste, energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved.
