The mounting method of the roller type vertical mill support base comprises the following steps that S1, a concrete foundation is formed; S2, a sizing block is placed on each concrete foundation; S3, a main center line is drawn, peripheral support bases are placed, the center point of the center support base is marked as O, the center points of the four peripheral support bases are marked as A, B, C and D respectively, and A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1 and D2 are marked; S4, the position of the support base is adjusted; S41, the height of the support base is adjusted; S42, the positions of the four peripheral support bases and the center support base are adjusted, and it is guaranteed that AB = BC = CD = DA and OA = OB = OC = OD; S43, each peripheral support base is rotated with A, B, C and D as the center until the numerical deviation of OA1, OA2, OB1, OB2, OC1, OC2, OD1 and OD2 is smaller than +/-1 mm; and S5, the support base is grouted and fixed. The mounting position of the support base is quickly and accurately positioned by adjusting the distance between the mark points, and the mounting efficiency and accuracy are improved.
