STF rotary damper based on ball screw
The invention belongs to the field of engineering vibration control, and particularly relates to a STF rotary damper based on a ball screw. The STF rotary damper comprises a small steel sleeve, a nut, the ball screw, a rotating disc, a static disc, a large steel sleeve and shear thickening fluid, wherein one end of the ball screw extends into the small sleeve through the nut, the other end of the ball screw extends into the large sleeve and is welded to the rotating disc, the static disc is arranged on the inner wall of the large sleeve, the rotating disc and the static disc are in cross connection with each other at an interval, and the large sleeve is filled with the shear thickening liquid which fills a gap between the static disc and the rotating disc. The rotary damper is composed of the shear thickening fluid and the ball screw fully utilizes the advantage of vibration energy of an STF passive rapid high-consumption structure, and the rotary damper is simple in structure, safe and efficient.
