The invention discloses a municipal engineering steel structure installation construction method which comprises fixing assemblies, connecting plates and winding assemblies; the two fixing assemblies are arranged side by side; connecting channels are formed in the two symmetrically-arranged side faces of each fixing assembly; the multiple connecting plates arranged side by side are connected into the connecting channels of the two fixing assemblies; the winding assemblies with wire nettings are arranged in the inner cavities of the fixing assemblies; the side face of each fixing assembly is connected with an illumination assembly; each fixing assembly comprises a hollow column, an upper balance weight plate and a lower balance weight plate; inserting blocks matched with the hollow columns are integrally formed at the bottom ends of the upper balance weight plates and the top ends of the lower balance weight plates; the inserting blocks of the upper balance weight plates and the inserting blocks of the lower balance weight plates are arranged in the inner cavities of the hollow columns; and two sets of transverse threaded channels are formed in the side face of the hollow columns. According to the municipal engineering steel structure installation construction method, the blocking effect can be guaranteed, combined assembly can be conducted, and different use requirements are met.
