The invention discloses a using method of an automatic flood control device for a subway entrance building. The automatic flood control device for the subway entrance building comprises a first floating flood control gate and an escape device, the first floating flood control gate comprises a first floating body, a first gate plate and a first flood pool, and the first gate plate is arranged at a subway entrance; the escape device comprises escape stairs and an escape power generation device, the escape stairs are arranged in the subway entrance, the escape power generation device comprises a hydro-generator, a water collecting tank, a controller, an illuminating lamp and an escape indicator lamp, and the illuminating lamp and the escape indicator lamp are arranged in a subway channel; when the subway entrance is immersed by flood, the first floating body in the first flood pool is driven by the flood to drive the first gate plate to ascend, the subway entrance is sealed, and the flood is prevented from entering a subway; after the subway entrance is closed, escape persons in the subway escape through the escape stairs; meanwhile, the flood is utilized to drive the hydro-generator to generate electricity, power is provided for the illuminating lamp and the escape indicating lamp, and illumination and guidance are provided for the escape persons in the subway.
