The invention discloses a method for backfilling and compacting a pressure pipeline within limited time, and belongs to the technical field of pipeline laying. The method comprising the following steps of (1), backfilling the bottom of a groove, backfilling the bottom of the groove with a mixture, and tamping twice; (2), laying pipelines; (3), backfilling the two sides of the pipeline, symmetrically backfilling the two sides of the pipeline with the mixture, and tamping once; (4), overall backfilling by using the mixture, backfilling to the position 30 cm away from the top of the pipe, and tamping once; and (5), backfilling the top with stone chips or original soil, and mechanically compacting. According to the method, the tamping frequency is reduced, the construction time is saved, the pavement strength is improved, meanwhile, pipeline sinking is prevented, and the probability of pipeline sinking or corrosion damage after long-term operation is reduced.
