The heat preservation and sound insulation pad comprises the following raw materials of, 45-50 parts of rubber particles; 15-25 parts of an adhesive; 80-90 parts of a foam material; 5-10 parts of fiber; 5-8 parts of montmorillonite; 10-20 parts of calcium silicate; the preparation method comprises the following steps of S1, crushing the foam material into foam material particles; S2, dispersing the foam material particles, the rubber particles and the fibers, and uniformly mixing and stirring the dispersed foam material particles, rubber particles and fibers with the montmorillonite and the calcium silicate to obtain a first mixture; S3, adding the adhesive into the first mixture in the S2, and uniformly stirring to obtain a second mixture; S4, pressing the second mixture for 5-6 h at the temperature of 100-110 DEG C under the pressure of 15-20 Mpa to obtain a semi-finished product; and S5, slicing the semi-finished product to obtain the heat preservation and sound insulation pad. The heat preservation and sound insulation pad has the advantage of good heat preservation and sound insulation performance.
