The invention discloses an automatic control method and system for water spraying and dust falling of a road sweeper and the road sweeper. The method comprises the steps that after the road sweeper is started, the road surface friction coefficient f1 is obtained in real time; after the road sweeper is started, the dust concentration X1 of an air outlet of the road sweeper is obtained in real time; a water spraying device of the road sweeper is controlled to start and stop according to comparison of a preset road surface friction coefficient f value domain and the real-time road surface friction coefficient f1; and after the water spraying device is started, the power of the water spraying device is adjusted according to the comparison of the preset dust concentration X value domain and the real-time dust concentration X1. The road sweeper is simple in structure and convenient to use, potential safety hazards caused by continuous working of a water spraying device under the conditions that the road surface is iced and snowed and the like are avoided, and the endurance time of the whole vehicle is effectively prolonged.
