The foundation tamping device comprises a movable moving mechanism, an impact mechanism, a first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism, wherein the impact mechanism is used for tamping a foundation and can advance forwards and backwards, the first transmission mechanism is used for driving the impact mechanism to reciprocate up and down so as to conduct foundation tamping; the moving mechanism comprises a moving rack, universal wheels and a movable mounting frame; the movable mounting frame is installed at the top end of the moving rack in a front-back movable mode, the first transmission mechanism is arranged on the movable mounting frame, the second transmission mechanism is arranged on the moving rack, the impact mechanism is installed at the bottom end of the movable mounting frame, and the movable mounting frame advances front and back under driving control of the second transmission mechanism. According to the foundation tamping device for the constructional engineering, the movable mounting frame is adopted to mount the impact mechanism, and the impact mechanism can reciprocate back and forth to linearly compact the foundation back and forth in a reciprocating manner, so that the problems that the compaction speed is low and time and labor are wasted when an existing tamping machine is used for compacting the foundation are solved.
