The invention discloses a gluing device and gluing method for building decoration. The gluing device comprises a bearing plate, the bottom of the bearing plate is provided with rollers, the top of the bearing plate is provided with a lifting device, a gluing device and a heating device. The lifting device is provided with an oil cylinder; the gluing device is provided with a gluing barrel; the heating device is provided with a heat conduction ring, and the gluing method comprises the following steps that firstly, the position is adjusted; secondly, building gluing is conducted; thirdly, gluing and softening are conducted, and a friction plate is manually pushed; and fourth, height adjustment is conducted. According to the gluing device and gluing method for building decoration, the purpose of widening the application range of the gluing device is achieved, the situation that the liquidity of gluing is reduced when the gluing device is not used for a long time or the temperature is low can be avoided, it is guaranteed that the gluing device can be conveniently extruded for use at any time, and the stability of the gluing device is improved; and the problem that the height of a gluing barrel is changed due to mistaken touch is avoided.
