The invention discloses a protective fence for building construction. The protective fence comprises a frame, a protection plate, a second buffer assembly and a third buffer assembly, wherein the frame comprises a bottom plate, a plurality of fixing feet are arranged on the bottom face of the bottom plate, and a back plate and a face plate which are parallel to each other are arranged on the top face of the bottom plate; the protection plate is parallel to the face plate and is connected with a plurality of first buffer assemblies which are arranged on the frame; the second buffer assembly is connected between the back plate and the face plate, and a driving rod of the second buffer assembly is fixedly connected with the protection plate; and the third buffer assembly is connected between the back plate and the face plate, and a sliding rod of the third buffer assembly abuts against the corresponding conical face of a conical block which is connected to the driving rod, so that the second buffer assembly and the third buffer assembly can be in linkage. The protective fence has the advantages of stability in use, good protection effect and low collision damage.
