The invention relates to a composite pane (1), comprising: - a first pane (2), which has an exterior surface (I) and an interior surface (II); - a second pane (4), which has an exterior surface (III) and an interior surface (IV); and - an intermediate layer (5), which is, in particular, a functional layer (6) arranged between the interior surface (II) of the first pane (2) and the exterior surface (III) of the second pane (4), the second pane (4) being provided as an interior pane and the first pane (2) being provided as an exterior pane, the composite pane also comprising a first polymer film (8) and a second polymer film (10), the first polymer film (8) being arranged between the interior surface (II) of the first pane (2) and the intermediate layer (5), and the second polymer film (10) being arranged between the exterior surface (III) of the second pane (4) and the intermediate layer (5), characterized in that a printed opaque layer (12, 14) is applied to the first polymer film (8) and/or second polymer film (10) in an edge region of the composite pane. The invention also relates to a method for producing the composite pane and to a use of the composite pane.
