PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CERAMIC BENDING MOLD FOR GLASS PANES
The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a ceramic bending mold (K) for glass panes, comprising the following process steps: (A) determining the contact surface (F-K) of the bending mold (K); (B) manufacturing a master mold (1) having a master mold surface (F-1) corresponding to the contact surface (F-K); providing the master mold surface (F-1) with mats (3) made of ceramic fibers or glass fibers imbibed with a ceramic suspension, said mats (3) being placed on the separation layer (2) and being dried, resulting in the creation of a ceramic hollow mold (4) having the contact surface (F-K); (D) removing the ceramic hollow mold (4) from the master mold (1); (E) providing the ceramic hollow mold (4) with a ceramic or metal stabilizing frame (5); (F) firing the ceramic hollow mold (4) comprising the stabilizing frame (5), resulting in the creation of the ceramic bending mold (K).
