The invention relates to the field of fire hydrants, in particular to an environment-friendly fire hydrant. The environment-friendly fire hydrant comprises a hydrant body, a shell and a heating assembly, wherein the shell covers the surface of the hydrant body, and an electric heating element in the heating assembly is located in the shell; the heating assembly further comprises a box body, a frame, a solar cell panel and a storage battery; and the solar cell panel is installed in the frame, one end of the frame is hinged to one side of the top of the box body through a hinge, and a cover plate is hinged to the other side of the top of the box body. The environment-friendly fire hydrant is mainly composed of the shell, the heating assembly and the like; the electric heating element is wrapped outside the hydrant body through the shell, the solar cell panel in the heating assembly generates power and provides power support for the electric heating element, and when the air temperature reaches the freezing point, the electric heating element heats the hydrant body to avoid frost cracking of the hydrant body and has the effect of protecting the hydrant body; and solar energy is used for generating power, energy is clean, the use of heat preservation films is reduced, and environment friendliness is improved.
