The invention belongs to the field of production of polished tiles, particularly relates to an ink-jet printing process for polished tiles, and aims to solve the problem that stable color generation cannot be realized during ink-jet printing of existing polished tiles, and the ink-jet printing process comprises the following steps: S1, adopting soluble metal salt as a coloring agent, and then matching with an auxiliary agent and a solvent to prepare color penetration ink; S2, assisting ink color development by utilizing a nanotechnology, and synthesizing a superfine nano silicon dioxide porous material by adopting a nano wrapping technology; S3, uniformly dispersing the material in the ceramic tile surface glaze, and spraying the pattern penetrating ink to the tile surface; and S4, when the ceramic ink-jet penetrating ink is sprayed on the surface of the ceramic tile, enabling the penetrating ink to permeate into the dense hole structure of the superfine silicon dioxide, and then performing high-temperature firing. According to the invention, the condition that the color development penetrating ink can stably present colors at the high temperature can be guaranteed, and the quality of ink-jet printing can be controlled.
