The invention discloses a vegetation ecological restoration method for a mine stone yard. The vegetation ecological restoration method comprises the steps that S1, dangerous rock pumice on a slope surface is cleaned; S2, a net on the cleaned slope surface is hung; S3, ecological rods are installed on the slope surface where the net is hung, the distance between every two adjacent layers of ecological rods is set to be 20-40 cm, and every two adjacent layers of ecological rods are transversely and irregularly installed and fixed through stabilizing rods; S4, base layer spray-seeding is carried out on the slope surface treated by the ecological rods, spray-seeding is carried out for multiple times in a layered mode, and a spray-seeding track is generated from top to bottom and is firstly generated on a concave part of a spray-seeding surface and then generated on a convex part of the spray-seeding surface, wherein the spray-seeding material comprises mixed water, soil and wood fibers; S5, surface SPF wood fiber spray-seeding is carried out on the base layer after spray-seeding; and S6, spraying maintenance is conducted on the slope surface at the preset frequency within the set time after surface layer spraying and seeding. The vegetation ecological restoration method has a good ecological effect on slope regreening of different mines such as granite for buildings, ceramic clay and limestone for cement.
