The invention provides a sponge city ecological roadbed structure based on an original road comprises an original retaining wall and an original road surface, the outer wall of the original retaining wall is covered with a lattice frame, the lattice frame is fixedly connected with the original retaining wall through anchor rods, and anchoring sections of the anchor rods are anchored into bed rock; plant bags are arranged in the lattice frame, a plurality of first geogrids are arranged on the side, close to the original retaining wall, of the lower portion of the original road surface, a water-resisting layer and an unloading plate are sequentially arranged above the first geogrids, a flexible soil retaining structure is arranged above the unloading plate, the inner side end of the flexible soil retaining structure extends to the position above the original road surface, and a pervious concrete road surface is laid above the flexible soil retaining structure. Urban vertical space utilization rate is improved, self weight of an upper road structure is reduced, pressure of the original slurry stone retaining wall is reduced, and meanwhile construction efficiency is effectively improved.
