The construction method comprises steps that detection and lofting are conducted in advance, and the installation position is determined; steel pipe piles are constructed, steel pipe sections are machined and transported to a construction site, the steel pipe sections are lengthened to form the steel pipe piles, the steel pipe piles are driven and sunk on the two sides of the temporary steel bridge, and after sinking is completed, flat braces, brackets and in-pile stiffening plates are installed; height adjusting devices are installed, specifically, the height adjusting devices are installed on the steel pipe piles, then all the height adjusting devices are adjusted to enable the top faces of the height adjusting devices to be horizontal, and then reinforcing steel plates are welded to the height adjusting devices and the steel pipe piles; a bearing beam and a limiting device are installed, specifically, the bearing beam is hoisted to the position above the height adjusting device, the bearing beam is fixed to the height adjusting device, then the limiting device is installed between the two opposite steel pipe piles, and the limiting device is located below the bearing beam; a lifting device and a protection box are installed, a plurality of distribution beams are installed above the bearing beam, and after installation is completed, the lifting device and the protection box are installed on the distribution beams. The construction process is simple, and the period is short.
