The invention relates to a flushing and disinfecting system for a public washroom. A urinal (12) and/or a closestool (13) are/is arranged in the public washroom, the flushing and disinfecting system comprises a plurality of water supply pipelines (2), a plurality of medicine supply pipelines (3), a plurality of disinfectant supply pipelines (4), a medicine dissolving box (5) and a plurality of jet devices (6), the water supply pipelines (2) are connected with an external constant-pressure water supply device (1), a time delay valve (7) is arranged on the water supply pipeline (2), the medicine supply pipeline (3) is communicated with the medicine dissolving box (5), the disinfectant supply pipeline (4) is communicated with the urinal (12) or the closestool (13), the water supply pipeline (2), the medicine supply pipeline (3) and the disinfectant supply pipeline (4) are intersected at the jet device (6), and disinfectant is contained in the medicine dissolving box (5). Compared with the prior art, daily disinfection of the closestool or the urinal is realized, the cost is low, the applicability is wide, and the problem of virus fecal spread can be effectively solved.
