The invention provides an automatic garden irrigation system adopting solar energy, and relates to the technical field of garden greening. The system comprises an energy recovery structure, wherein the energy recovery structure comprises a bottom supporting water pipe, an irrigation sprayer is arranged at the upper end of the bottom supporting water pipe, an irrigation nozzle is arranged on the outer surface of the irrigation sprayer, the outer surface of the bottom supporting water pipe is fixedly connected with a rainwater collecting box, and a connecting clamping ring is fixedly clamped between the upper end of the rainwater collecting box and the outer surface of the bottom supporting water pipe. Through the arrangement of the solar panel and the rainwater collecting box, the solar energy can be absorbed through the solar panel in sunny days, energy is supplied to power of the bottom supporting water pipe, rainwater is guided into the rainwater collecting box through the solar panel in rainy days, and the rainwater entering the rainwater collecting box is filtered through a filter screen, so that the rainwater is prevented from bringing impurities into the rainwater collecting box, and cleanliness of the rainwater is guaranteed.
