The material is prepared by the following steps of: preparing a precursor by taking pseudo-boehmite as a raw material, and adding a composite additive and a seed crystal alpha-Al2O3; and then carrying out ball milling, drying, crushing, grading and sintering. the composite additive is prepared from La2O3, TiO2, SiO2, ZrO2, Y2O3 and CaO. The prepared ceramic corundum grinding material is in the shape of polyhedral hexagonal three-dimensional equiaxed grains, the average size of the grains is between 300 and 950nm, the microhardness is between 20 and 23.5 GPa, and the density is between 3.90 and 3.98 g/cm < 3 >. The material can be used in the wear-resistant fields such as heavy-load and precise grinding.
