The invention provides a modular expansion joint mounting hanging bracket based on a highway bridge, relates to the field of expansion joint mounting, and aims to solve the problems that an existing bridge expansion joint mounting hanging bracket needs to be mounted at one end of the bridge, so that the mounting process is relatively complex and troublesome in order to prevent the bridge from sliding off due to stress, and the size of an expansion joint is difficult to accurately control. The hanging bracket comprises a fixing mechanism, and a mounting mechanism is mounted above the fixing mechanism; a limiting mechanism is mounted at the front end of the mounting mechanism; a positioning mechanism is mounted at the front end of the fixing mechanism; and a hoisting mechanism is mounted at the front end of the fixing mechanism. The bridge plate can be blocked by the supporting air bag after reaching a designated position, so that the bridge plate can fully ensure that the size of the expansion joint is qualified during installation, and after the bridge plate is erected, only air in the supporting air bag needs to be released, so that the supporting air bag can be quickly taken out of the expansion joint, the workload is reduced, and the operation difficulty is reduced; and the working efficiency of a project can be effectively improved.
