The invention relates to a landscape ecological side slope intelligent greening maintenance structure and a construction method thereof. The landscape ecological side slope intelligent greening maintenance structure comprises a water tank with an opening in the upper end face and a pipeline system laid on the section of the side slope, the water tank is erected on the ground above the side slope, and a water pump communicating with the water tank is installed on one side of the water tank; and the pipeline system comprises a plurality of sets of first water conveying pipes laid on the slope surface in parallel and second water conveying pipes communicating with the first water conveying pipes, the second water conveying pipes are connected with a water outlet of the water pump, a plurality of sets of first accommodating grooves arranged in parallel are concavely formed in the slope surface, the first water conveying pipes are laid in the first accommodating grooves, a plurality of sets of permeable micropores which continuously extend in the axial direction of the first water conveying pipes are formed in the pipe wall of each set of first water conveying pipes in a penetrating mode, and each set of first accommodating grooves are filled with soil and are planted with a plurality of sets of green plants which are distributed up and down. Compared with an irrigation mode of spraying operation, according to the technical scheme, water-saving irrigation is achieved, and the utilization efficiency of water is improved.
