The invention discloses a sewage purification device and a drainage ditch. According to the embodiment of the invention, the sewage purification device comprises: a broken stone filtering unit which is internally provided with graded broken stone so as to intercept suspended particles in sewage; a first-stage MBBR purification unit, wherein a suspended filler and an aeration device are arranged in the first-stage MBBR purification unit, so as to biodegrade organic pollutants in the sewage for the first time by a biological membrane on the suspended filler; and a second-stage aquatic plant purification unit. Aquatic plants are arranged in the second-stage aquatic plant purification unit so as to make the aquatic plants biodegrade organic pollutants in sewage for the second time, and the broken stone filtering unit, the first-stage MBBR purification unit and the second-stage aquatic plant purification unit are sequentially communicated in the drainage direction of the sewage. Therefore, the sewage purification device provided by the embodiment of the invention has the advantages of low cost, long service life, convenience in arrangement and good sewage purification effect.
