The invention discloses a temporary supporting structure for a building. The temporary supporting structure comprises a base, wherein the base is in shaft connection with a supporting rod through a rotating shaft, and a telescopic device is installed on the supporting rod; a gyroscope is mounted on the rotating shaft and is in communication connection with the telescopic device; the bottom of the supporting rod forms a conical part, and the top is coupled with a supporting plate; according to the building temporary supporting structure, the supporting plate abuts against a formwork, after the conical part penetrates into the ground, the gyroscope detects the moving distance of the base and the rotating angle of the rotating shaft, the outward moving distance of the supporting plate is judged, and then the telescopic device extends for compensation, so that the supporting plate is kept at the initial positions. According to the temporary supporting structure, the concrete formwork is effectively supported, and the concrete formwork can be elongated according to actual conditions, so that vertical supporting of the formwork is guaranteed, and the quality of a concrete structure is guaranteed.
