The invention discloses a bamboo wood modifier as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The modifier is prepared from the following raw materials: a silicon-aluminum raw material, an activator and an auxiliary agent, the activator is a silicate; the silicate comprises at least one of sodium silicate and potassium silicate; the modulus of the activator is 1.0 to 1.5. According to the bamboo wood modifier, the geopolymer and the nano silicon dioxide are compounded, the inorganic polymer is formed after the geopolymer is gelated and cured in bamboo wood, and cell cavities are filled and covered with the inorganic polymer, so that modification of the bamboo wood is achieved; the nano silicon dioxide is used as a reaction core, the surface adsorbs a geopolymer monomer, and a geopolymer gel reaction is accelerated; meanwhile, polymerization reaction with a geopolymer monomer is directly carried out to fill a wood cavity; the bamboo wood modification effect is further improved.
