The method comprises the steps of adopting a high-purity steel smelting process for smelting a steel billet; after the steel billet is cooled and heated again, heating the steel billet; and adopting a rolling process that the quotient of the average height of the steel billet and the diameter of a roller is 0.1-0.5, and rolling the steel billet into the turnout steel rail, wherein the rolling compression ratio is larger than or equal to 12:1. By adopting the production method of the high-density turnout steel rail, the high-density turnout steel rail with the low alarm rate and high purity can be obtained.
