The invention relates to the field of concrete, and particularly discloses heat storage concrete and a preparation method thereof. The heat storage concrete is prepared from, by weight, 300-400 parts of cement, 200-300 parts of water, 120-280 parts of sand, 150-280 parts of coarse aggregate, 100-220 parts of a phase change heat storage material, 5-9.5 parts of carbon nanofibers and 5-10 parts of a water reducing agent; wherein the phase change heat storage material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 120-150 parts of polyethylene glycol and 20-30 parts of shale ceramsite. The heat storage concrete disclosed by the invention has relatively good heat storage performance.
