The invention discloses a building wall capable of effectively resisting earthquakes, and belongs to the technical field of prefabricated buildings. The building wall comprises a first wall unit and a second wall unit which are transversely arranged in a spaced mode, at least one set of first damping devices are arranged between the first wall unit and the second wall unit, and the first damping devices are used for damping when the first wall unit and the second wall unit are transversely and relatively separated; and each first damping device comprises a first ball body, a second ball body and a damper, the two ends of each damper are hinged to the corresponding first ball body and the corresponding second ball body correspondingly, and the first ball bodies and the second ball bodies can slide along first sliding grooves and second sliding grooves. According to the building wall, the first damping devices are arranged between the wall units in the same row, transverse damping of the wall can be achieved, and damage caused by transverse exciting force of the earthquakes to the wall is avoided.
